END BREATH!
It's the breath that sometimes is prescribed at the conclusion of a Breathography Breath Cycles. Why? LUNG CAPACITY, MIDTHORACIC MOBILITY, and the ability to control your breath at the conclusion of a breath cycle, avoiding compensatory hyperventilation!
We can use your breath to mobilize AND stabilize. The Engaged Exhale of Breathography is used to stabilize the lower back, yet mobilize the hip flexors and diaphragm through the repositioning of the pelvis with the internal oblique activation. The Stacked Inhales of the END BREATH mobilizes those little spaces in between the ribs as you push the diaphragm down down into the low back, yet STABILIZES the spine through the volume of air in the lungs and the rigid support from the primary breathing muscle, the diaphragm. Additionally, we use the END BREATH as a method of pelvic floor release as we release the contraction of the pelvic floor in the final portion of the END BREATH.
