You might be a person who doesn't have time for a full workout in the morning, but committing to this 3 minute routine has the ability to shift your nervous system for the better for the day due to the controlled breathing, and activate deep core muscles that lessen the risk for injury and improve your posture for THIS COMING DAY...your best day yet!
All that you need in most of these short protocols is an Ab-Ribbon and a hand towel. For some, you will add a pilates ball and a chair. You can also perform these on a lunch break BEFORE you eat lunch. Did you know there are physiological and metabolic benefits to performing "exercise snacks" like these BEFORE you eat? I highly recommend improving blood sugar response and body composition by performing short routines such as these before you go eat...you will also have the BEST posture at your dinner table :-)
The morning Core + Posture Videos move from Level 1 to Level 8 Breathography, meaning we will add progressive breath retention in the higher level videos. As per usual, if you are not ready to add a breath retention, just move to nasal breathing instead, but try to keep your Ab-Ribbon loose during the period of time that I suggest a breath retention. Adding the breath retentions in over time is a wonderful method of improving carbon dioxide tolerance and increasing the strength of the deep core when you are ready to add them!
